It's about a true story..

This dog, it was a akita puppy born in Japan.He was sent on a plane from Japan to America but his cage dropped at a american train station.Then,a man named Parker found this puppy at the train station and took him home.He and his wife decided to keep the puppy after a few days because nobody came to them when they put up the fliers of the puppy saying they found him, and Parker became very closed to him....They named him Hachi because the tag they found on him said that( hachi is 8 in japanese) When parker went to work everyday on a train at the train station, Hachi would follow him everyday & always waited for him outside the train station at the same spot for him to come back. One day, Parker died ....and Hachi still waited for him at the train station on that day & the next nine years he waited at the same spot everyday. Hachi was a very loyal dog....

After Hachi died they had a build a statue at the spot where Hachi always waited.

You can find the statue at Shibuya train station...=D
